I felt like I need to answer some questions about travelling to Mexico and share some Mexico travel tips, so this video is basically a Mexico travel guide with some of my own experiences thrown in.

Before travelling to Mexico, I had no preconceptions or expectations because I knew nothing about Mexico. But people’s reactions made me wonder if I *should* be worried. I was asked questions like:

– Are you scared to visit Mexico?
– Is Mexico safe?
– Which parts of Mexico are you travelling to?

In this quick Mexico guide, I’ll answer all those questions and share my experience of travelling Mexico as a woman.

  1. These are some great tips! It is really awesome how you went to some places in Mexico which many people miss such as Chiapas. In fact, I had never heard of Chiapas until I watched your videos as well as Brendan's. The area looks really amazing! I definitely need to try to visit Mexico sometime. I hope you have a great time here in the United States!

  2. Hey Jodie…. I'm really enjoying your uploads! Since I already follow Brendan, it was a little strange seeing you in 2 timelines. Nonetheless I'm beginning to find it refreshing to revisit your destinations a few days later, especially from a fresh perspective and style. Keep up the good work.

Also your video was so well lit at the beginning I wanted to ask what lights you were using as I hadn't really noticed what beautiful eyes you had until now…. Of course later on it was obvious it was window light, and the sun and clouds do tend to do it's own dance.

  3. The media has over played the whole Mexico is not safe thing. I have been all over Baja California driving. Yes don’t drive at night. Be polite to the people. Most of all. Don’t make a fool of yourself.

  4. Great videos, and tips! You're doing a great job with you videos. Glad you enjoy Mexico, and experience what many tourist miss, and they don't really get to know Mexico.
