RED PLANET HOTEL REVIEW – ERMITA MANILA PHILIPPINES

In this video I share our review of the Red Planet Hotel located in the Ermita area of Manila Philippines.

The Hotel is what we consider a low budget 3 star hotel. It was very affordable, clean and accommodating for our short term needs. This mini vaction in Manila was well deserved.

As work at home entreprenuers we spend much of our day at home together working various online income streams. Getting away from the daily grind is a welcomed relief for us.

Normally, when it comes to Hotels, I am a “big baller” -“shot caller”. My hotel of choice is usually the Marriott . But Lisa D. suggested to try a low budget hotel for short term stay and I’m glad we did.

The hotel was near many of the tourist attractions in the city. The attraction we liked the most was Ocean Park. We will be sharing some of that with you in the near future.

This hotel features a nice chines restaurant with a Taiwan cuisne. They also have a 7 Eleven downstairs in the lobby as well. This came in handy when we were in a hurry and just wanted a light snack rather than a meal.

The Hotel was formerly called The Tune Hotel and changed their name to Red Planet Hotel during the last part of 2014. This hotel located only in Asian countries.

Briefly, about Me…

RED PLANET HOTEL REVIEW – ERMITA MANILA PHILIPPINES

  1. I haven't been in the Ermita area since 2008. My "stomping grounds" are in the Makati district (P. Burgos Street). I thoroughly enjoy going to the Philippines and I am very interested in retiring there.

  2. Cool spot! Night life is out of the question for me. Im a family man. Im home by 6pm everyday and in bed by 9pm. lol… Dont remember the laat time ive been out at night. Seriously!

  3. Good stuff Bobby! You two make a fine couple. Me and my wife just left Manila yesterday to come to Boracay. I gotta say I have mixed feelings for Manila. I love the convenience of having anything you can possibly want at any time (kinda like being in the states), but sometimes it can get too overwhelming with all the ppl, traffic, and heat. Flying into Kalibo Airport and driving on the country side towards Boracay is such a great road trip. Everything is so green and the air is so clean. It's a great sight for sore eyes. Hope you enjoy your mini vacation and keep the videos coming! Be safe and watch out for pickpockets!
